NORTH COUNTY CHAPTER

The World Affairs Council is a National Organization with over 75 Chapters and over 80,000 members nationwide. The Council is nonprofit, nonadvocacy, and nonpartisan, devoted to Educational Activity aimed at understanding U.S. Foreign Policy. Programs focus on non-U.S. areas and issues relating to Politics, Economics, Culture and International Relations.

The North County Chapter is a sub-set of the World Affairs Council of San Diego. Many members of North County are retired and contribute to the Programs and Operational needs of the Chapter. Programs are free and open to the public. Visitors are always welcome, and new members are always welcomed. Modest annual dues cover the cost of operation of the North County Chapter. Membership in North County automatically includes membership in the County Chapter. A monthly Newsletter details events and information for North County and the "Communiqué" for all of San Diego.

REGULAR PROGRAM SCHEDULE for North County:

  • Regular Thursday 10:00 AM meetings at The Remington Club Phase II located behind Vons market in Rancho Bernardo Center.
  • Monthly speakers, the 2nd Tuesday evening of each month September thru May, at the Rancho Bernardo Swim and Tennis Club.  The speakers for Tuesdays are "High Profile" San Diego residents.
