RSVP Bob Smith receives Channel 10 Leadership Award. Retired Senior Volunteer Patrol Administrator Bob Smith has recently received this prestigious award. The Channel 10 crew will be at the Seven Oaks Community Center on Wednesday, November 29 from 2 to 3 p.m. to give Smith his award and to film the presentation. Home for the Holidays at Rancho Bernardo Inn. During December, the community is invited to participate in "holiday preparatory classes" focusing on Holiday Design & Decor and Seasonal Sweets & Spirits: Saturday, December 9 from 2-4 p.m. "Entertaining at Home with Food & Wine;" Tuesday, Dec, 12 from 2-4 p.m. "Fabulous Floral Design;" Thursday, Dec. 14 from 2-4 p.m. "Setting the Perfect Holiday Table;" Saturday, Dec. 16 from 2-4 p.m. "Gift Wrapping with Pizzazz;" Tuesday, Dec. 19 from 2-4 p.m. "The Magic of Chocolate with John Scharffenberger;" Thursday, December 21 from 2-4 p.m. "Cookie Decorating for Kids." One may join a single class or sign up for a series.

Hanukkah Fair at Temple Adat Shalom. On Sunday, December 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., items from the gift shop will be on sale. Artist Adriana Bromit will be at the Fair to display her unique line of jewelry. Coffee, cookies and fun Hanukkah shopping is the order of the day.

Holiday Trips planned. The RB Ramblers are on the move during December. On December 11-13, a visit to the Paris Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas; on December 18, they will be going to Newport to join in the Boat Parade of Lights; then on to Pasadena on December 29 to a sneak preview of the Rose Parade floats.
