The Rancho Bernardo Recreation Council is a non-profit corporation chartered by the City of San Diego Park and Recreation Board.
The Council plans, promotes, publicizes and provides park and recreation programs, services and opportunities within the Rancho Bernardo Community Park.
The Council advises and assists other organizations such as the RB Community Tennis Club, Lake Hodges Lawn Bowls Club, and the RB Joslyn Senior Center.
The RB Recreation Center staff provides activities and information to the community. The 38-acre facility has eight multi-purpose fields, horseshoe pits, gazebo, BBQ pits and picnic areas for your enjoyment. Dogs are required to be on leash. A seasonal brochure is distributed to the local schools. These are available at the Center counter for your convenience.
A nine-member Board of Directors elected by the RB community governs the Council. It meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Center at the Community Park and is open to the public.
